Market the site on the City Trash Cans

Print stickers for the city trash/recycle cans which include the URL and Twitter address. Include some of the features of the site--such as the pay your bills online idea posted on this site. The cost would be nominal and everyone in the city would have the address handy.

The Website

Something we can all participate in as Austinites. Something new and engaging. Preferably direct access to each other, and our city's leaders. An All-Austin resource. A way to organize ourselves. Maybe a huge database of e-mail addresses? A different kind of yellow pages?

Live Music Listings

A better live-music search. Use Turn2Live (turn2live.com) as an event feeder and event manager. They will have the fully fleshed out version of the site within 2 months. Not to mention, COA doesn't need to spend $45-$60K on maintenance for their live-music portal.

Open API based user selectable themes/skins

With a fully open API to the backend data, it would be possible to create multiple GUI themes for users to choose from, as well as easily modify the default front end GUI or, for expert level users, even write their own custom ones (and possibly submit them for use by other site users, if they're popular).
