Some other scheme for text inputs and textareas than white on light teal?

LIght grey on light teal in text inputs and white on light teal in textareas is aesthetically pleasing, yes, but very difficult to read in this type size due to lack of contrast. Please use a darker background color, or a lighter background color and black text for this class.

(The white on dark blue with light drop shadow is fine, at least for my eyes. :)

Feature Request

e-Services and accessible format

CoA should focus on e-Services, including online accessible fillable forms, online submission of permit applications, reservation requests for facilities (with reservation/payment via PayPal). Most importantly, implement web design standards across site (see example of text underlined at http://www.ci.austin.tx.us/development/bpinfo1.htm#FAQs)
